Hi Carlos,
Sounds like you are trying to select landmarks by only pressing on the desired
point. However, to select landmarks in geomorph one needs to "point click and
drag". Once you press down on the mouse, drag your cursor to make a box
surrounding your selection.
Your point of choice should then be selected.
Hope that helps!
Erik

Subject: Geomorph surface disappears when digitizing
To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>
Dear morphometricians,
I have been working with geomorph running GPA and allometry analyses on 2D
data, nevertheless I have been trying to digitize landmarks on a 3D surface but
when I select the first landmark, the specimens just vanishes, R asks me if I
want to keep the landmarks so I press y and it waits for me to select a second
landmark (in the blank device), but when I (randomly) select a second landmark
I get this message:
Error in rgl.user2window(x, y, z, projection = proj) :
NA/NaN/Inf in foreign function call (arg 5)
I tried this with the latest version of geomorph in R, Rstudio and both in
Windows and linux; and it keeps happening. It even happens with the scallops
sample surface.
¿Can anyone please help me?
Thank you in advance
Carlos
