Dear Alejo,

There's a small known problem with that function which I have a patch for. Please contact me for details.

Subject: digitize2d problem

Hi all, I am trying to to digitize two-dimensional(2D) landmarks from .jpg files using digitize2d in geomorph without success.

#First I set the work dir where the jpg files are:

setwd("Vulpes/test")

#then list the jpg's files in dir:

spec <- list.files()[grep("jpg", list.files())]

#Now I have a character vector of jpg's filenames and run:

digitize2d(spec, nlandmarks=5, scale=1)

#and this error appears:

Error in basename (file):
   a character vector is expected as an argument

#The command diitize2d is quite straightforward but always I get that error. I feed digitize2d whit a character vector so I don't know what is happening. Any help is welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Alejo
