Hi. If you are using a recent version of Past (3.0 or later), you just set the 
column type of your classification variable to "Group" (tick the "Column 
attributes" button above the spreadsheet to do this). 

I guess you used the "Import text file" function in Past. I would be grateful 
if you could send me the offending text file, and information about what 
version of Past you are using ("About" in the File menu), so I can reconstruct 
the crash and fix the bug.

Dear all,

I have some problems with  doing statistics in PAST with data exported
from MorphoJ. 
At first PAST always crashes when importing die .txt-file exportet
from MorphoJ. 
But if I first copy .txt-content into excel and than to PAST suddenly
it can deal with the data. But PAST does not recognize my
MorphoJ-classifiers anymore. Thus, what could I do or should I simply
change to another statitic programm to do MANOVA with different
classifiers?
