Folks,
The newest version of geomorph is now available. Version 2.0 has many internal
enhancements, as well as several new functions and options. The latest version
may be found at: http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/geomorph/index.html
A full list of changes is available on our blog (http://www.geomorph.net/ ),
but the major highlights include:
1: Methods for combining morphometrics and phylogenetic comparative biology:
This includes new methods for evaluating phylogenetic signal (multivariate
Kappa), phylogenetic PLS, comparing multivariate rates of evolution, and
visualizing phylomorphospace
2: Estimating missing landmarks using either the thin-plate spline or
multivariate multiple regression
3: Enhanced 3D visualizations, including warping of surface meshes to visualize
shape changes.

Geomorph 2.0 tarball and Windows build are up on CRAN. I suggest you give it a
careful look. Emma and I undertook a major overhaul, resulting in quite a few
new functions, options, etc. and a serious cleaning/streamlining of the code
and help files.
