It appears that the reported problem was with a specific .ply file. Some of the changes made for other purposes were to expand .ply support and handle (=ignore) some included ancillary data. This must have inadvertently fixed the reported issue. Makes sense.
Please report any problems with Morpheus et al. We cannot fix any issues if we do not know they exist.
