Dear all,

I am using tpsDig2 to digitized my samples and I wish to scale the photos
to life size using the "measure" fucntion in "Image Tools" menu. I input 10
mm as the reference length and selected two points on a ruler that are 10
mm away and then clicked "OK" to accept. The software told me that there
were 66 pixels between the two points on the ruler and showed that the
scale factor was 0.151359. (As the attached figure)

However, a manual calculation of 10/66 yields 0.1515152, rather than
0.151359.

I am confused about why there would be such a difference, even though it is
small in magnitude.

Thank you in advance.

Best,
Patrick
