Greetings colleagues,
We have drafted our first iteration of the interactive citation network for geometric morphometrics in anthropology (view and interact with that network here <http://crhr-archive.sfasu.edu/GMMAnthIntFig1/> ), and request your assistance to ensure that it is as complete as possible. There is a link in the text box on the left where additional publications can be submitted. We are waiting until January 5 to begin work on the second iteration, which will include those publications that you submit within this timeframe. Where possible, we ask that you also include the digital object identifier (DOI) for each of the publications. While this iteration does not include a traditional bibliography (currently being populated), that will be a part of the second iteration, and supplemental to the final publication. Importantly, all citations for archaeology (including bioarchaeology) are omitted from this network, as we are hoping to compare and contrast the variable citation practices between the two citation networks at the conclusion of this project. For those that are interested, I am working on an additional citation network for GMM and Asymmetry-which is not limited to a specific discipline. This network continues to be a work in progress, but I am happy to share it in exchange for your feedback. We have submitted an abstract to AAPA, where we hope to present our preliminary findings for the anthropology network. Many thanks to all in the MORPHMET community who continue to assist our efforts to make these networks as complete as possible prior to the analyses.
