Gifted and Talented Education. I have a GATE class, 7th grade. At the end of
the year, as an extention project, we are going to be reading three to five
books by the same author. I'll produce a list and they can choose which
author. I want them and produce a presentation that discusses their use of
their reading strategies, the literary aspects of the author, the message of
the author and, if possible, what the author was thinking when they wrote the
books. I want them on the internet to interview the author if that is at all
possible.

I think I will do it with all my kids at an easier level. It's too rich of an
idea to keep to the GATR kids.
