Judy,
  Are you referring to books written by Carol Crane? She is also in the process 
of adding various countries to the mix. Check out D is for Dancing Dragon, 
about China. I met Carol about a month ago. She does extensive research for 
each of these books.
   
  I like them because they are great to share with a variety of reading levels.
