Amy, WOW..you have your hands full. I'm an elementary teacher so i only have my elementary perspective (although I did sub at the middle school for a while). I ahve found that 6th grade teachers are usually more elementary minded and like the collboration of the push in model. 7th & 8th grade teachers usually are more secondary minded and very concerned with content. They are very happy to have reading & special ed teachers remediate. Have you ever thought of trying to group by need and not by grade??
