I would also just take from whatever is the best in your own classroom,  
even if it is just parts that are best. A really great paragraph, an  
especially good use of vocabulary, some really good images, etc. Of  
course, I would ask permission of the student.

Also, you might check your own state's department of education website.  
Sometimes they have anchor papers buried in there someplace. I think  
California does.
