I thought I was a first grade teacher forever. I L-O-V-E-D it for six years. Then as reading specialist, I got to work in all grades. Fifth scared the dickens out of me at first, but I have learned to LOVE it too...but for very different reasons. Then I had the chance to teach at a graduate level...adults...and they were REALLY scary, but I love teaching at that level also! I think, if you love to teach more than anything, (not just loving an age-group but the challenge of teaching itself) you will love it anywhere...and the change of grade level will keep it fresh for you. Lori I just love this. I think of our first grader teachers and they are the ones always 'slumped' at the meeting tables and yet are so inspired about their teaching and what they do. A special group of people but I could never go back. It's way too frightening!!! **************Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos.
