I highly recommend it as a format for teaching guided reading groups.? I love the way she has sections for the different levels of readers- Pre-A, Emergent, Early, Transitional.? Even within those levels, she addresses the needs of each level: 1/A, 2/B, 3C/D.? She has a great lesson plan format for each level.? Her lessons are fast paced and cover each area of literacy,? You use the books you have in your classroom and adapt to her lesson plan format.? Kinderjane/SC? :-)
