Thank you so much for all the suggestions so far. You have no idea how invaluable this information is. I have some of the books mentioned like the Reading Teacher's Book of Lists and Overcoming Dyslexia. Both great books! I will be checking prices for all of these as well. I just ordered When Readers Struggle (Fountas and Pinelli). I am familiar with several of the authors mentioned from my coursework.
I am teaching in Mississippi at a private school right now. However, I have no idea of what I will be doing after finishing my degree. My son was diagnosed with dyslexia 2 years ago so I am leaning to the intervention and remediation aspects of the degree. I am excited to see where life leads me in the next few years! Thanks again and please send more ideas if you have them. :) Kathy > > > Message: 1 > Date: Wed, 24 Feb 2010 12:42:17 -0600 > From: Kathy Prater <kpra...@starkvilleacademy.org> > To: mosaic@literacyworkshop.org > Subject: [MOSAIC] Professional Library > Message-ID: <4b857309.9090...@starkvilleacademy.org> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"; Format="flowed" > > Hello.
