You might want to check out the Linda-Mood Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing (V&V). It is fantastic in developing continuity and thought process. I went to the training. But, the manual many who were at the training had already implemented the V&V. There are materials that you can buy to support it, BUT, using the cards and colored squares are the basic requirements. I, then, trained the assistants that work with our students. They found it to be very helpful and easy to implement. I highly recommend this for comprehension (retell). I have the Complete 4 that outlined the philosophy, framework, etc. Then, I bought the grade 2 book. It's quite good.
