Does anyone know of a good progress monitor probe for comprehension for grades 3-6? We tried and dismissed the AIMS MAZE -- it may be predictive, but doesn't match any instruction. We need something that can be given every couple of weeks, that will give a general comp score. What do others do for RTI data for comp?
You may want to look at the RTI book put out by Gretchen Owocki. It is from Heinemann. Also, have you considered the Fountas and Pinnell benchmark kits?
