I read your email and decided to give it a try.  Oh my goodness!  It was
great.  I require my 5th grade students to keep a running of list of books
they've read, they want to read and of course, what they are reading now.
When I had them transfer this information to Shelfari, they were hooked.
They invited each other, their family members and started having
conversations about books.  It was amazing!

Now if only my Literature Circle conversations were as rich!  Thanks for the
advice.
