At our middle school in Ronan, Montana, I order Capstone & Stone Arch books for
my struggling readers. They are written at about a third grade level but deal
with subjects appropriate to middle school students. Watch what you order as
some of these titles are more appropriate for a high school students. They are
pretty good about giving a synopsis of the story and subject matter. Our kids
love them!! Easy read but not "baby" subjects.

Could  you please offer suggestions for publishers of classroom libraries for
older (6th - 8th graders) struggling readers.  I have a High Noon Books catalog
and many titles look promising, but was hoping to hear the wisdom and
experience of the group.
