Happy New Year A free professional development workshop Smart Museum of Art ,The University of Chicago, 5550 S. Greenwood Avenue- Chicago,IL,60637 Thursday, January 26, 4:40 -7:30 pm CPDUs available Teachers- discover how the Smart Museum's collection of art can be used as a resource in the classroom. This workshop will explore teaching with objects and offer so ideas for creating interdisciplinary lessons using works in the Smart's collection. The shared lesson for this workshop is Healthy Habits- a unit designed by Valerie Hardy of Neil Elementary, for the sixth grade science curriculum. Open to teaches at all grade levels and disciplines, as content can be adapted. Space is limited .
