My friend had downloaded and installed moses via "svn co https://.."; recently. We noticed that, as compared to a version I had downloaded in Aug-07, the mert process is now a lot faster. There are a couple of new files such as "enhanced-mert" and "reduce-field.pl" in the dir "scripts/training/cmert-0.5/". Also, the Manager class (and a few others) is now different. Plus, decoding the same source-file, with the same (LM-file, phrase-table, distortion table, model weights), we get slightly different translation output. My question is: I suppose we can treat this updated version downloaded via "svn co https://..."; as stable? Although I notice that the most recent version in sourceforge is dated 2007-05-29?
