The tutorial for the baseline SMT system at http://www.statmt.org/wmt08/baseline.html needs updating. It instructs users to:
Download GIZA++ and mkcls. cd GIZA++-v2/ make make snt2cooc.out cd ../mkcls-v2/ make There is no need to download and install separately. The latest Giza has the lot bundled together and has a top level Makefile which does the lot for you in one make.
