I have never seen this specific error.

That being said, in Ubuntu /bin/sh is a symlink to /bin/dash, which does not
happen to work well with the moses scripts.

You can do two things which, I guess, will help you out:

1.- edit "training/cmert-0.5/enhanced-mert" and exchange "/bin/sh" by
"/bin/bash"
2.- exchange the symlink "/bin/sh", which points to "/bin/dash", by one that
points to "/bin/bash"

The advantage of option 1 is that you do not need to change your system.
Advantage of option 2 is that no other moses script will return that kind of
error again.
