u should ensure that u your phrase table, and language model, is binarised
to minimise memory usage. this webpage tells u how to do it

Subject: [Moses-support] Moses Decoder Problem
Dear All,
I am using the Moses Decoder in internal Experiments in SAKHR Company ,
I found That moses decoder terminates suddenly during the phase of Loading
the Phrase Table .
That happens only when the phrase table size exceeds 500MB ( about 6
million phrase ).
If anybody Knows the reason please tell me.
