glad to see someone's read the FAQ...
Two projects I would recommend is
1. Make the phrase table (especially on-disk format) faster for chart
decoding by
a. Using hashing instead of a trie to store the phrases
b. caching phrase table lookups
2. Moses iPhone app. There's existing code in the branch
branches/hieu_iphone
a Add as many features as you can think of
b. Do whatever it takes to pass the Apple review!
I think these 2 projects are doable in 2-3 momths and would be fun and
useful for moses. Other people may also be able to recommend other projects
