Hi Christophe, I was trying to merge Lexi Birch's InterpolatedScorer (from mert-mtm5 branch) into trunk in September. This scorer should do the same as your MergeScorer. Unfortunately I had some problems with it and when you commited your MergeScorer I stopped working on it.
However, I would like to finish it because Lexi's InterpolatedScorer has IMHO some advantages: The most important one is that it behaves like any other scorer and therefore there is no need to have mert-moses-multi.pl script. Besides it, InterpolatedScorer is able to interpolate any scorers inherited from class scorer (Merge Scorer can interpolate only descendants of statisticsBasedScorer) and therefore it is more general. In addition, it uses built-in ScorerFactory, so there is no need to change InterpolatedScorer code when someone add a new scorer to mert. I will try to add InterpolatedScorer to repository during Christmas period. If it works corectly, I will suggest to replace MergeScorer with InterpolatedScorer and remove mert-moses-multi.pl with your agreement. Do you have any objections or other suggestions?
