A recent change in the Moses configuration file prohibits the use of the
equal "=" sign in the file paths. This change affected at least one
other user on the Moses support list. It will also affect all DoMY open
source users, and I suspect even more users, with a migration from
RELEASE-1 to future releases (#2 in early 2014?).

For us and others to change the logic that parses and creates config
files relatively is easy. Updating real file system paths for an
inventory of hundreds SMT models across hundreds of users will be a
horrific support challenge.

Is there any reason why the command parser can not be updated to
properly service paths with equal signs? One such change could be to
enclose the path in double-quotes. I believe such a change, if possible,
would be a great service to a vast number of current Moses users.

If this change would be more complicated than the Moses team can manage,
we can have our Engineering Director, Jeroen, review the code and
propose an alternate solution.

Thanks,
Tom
