Hello,
I have left my laptop to train my translation system for more than 24 hours
and yet it was not finished.
When I checked the ~/working/training.out, here's what I found:
ERROR: Cannot find mkcls, GIZA++/mgiza, & snt2cooc.out/snt2cooc in .
You MUST specify the parameter -external-bin-dir at
/home/tjr/mosesdecoder/scripts/training/train-model.perl line 332.
I find this very odd since I trained corpora successfully many times before.
Could it be that that I had to say that the -f parameter is fr and not ar?
Here's what I typed:
nohup nice ~/mosesdecoder/scripts/training/train-model.perl -root-dir train
-corpus ~/corpus/ar-en.clean -f ar -e en -alignment grow-diag-final-and
-reordering msd-bidirectional-fe -lm 0:3:$HOME/lm/ar-en.blm.en:8
external-bin-dir ~/mosesdecoder/tools >& training.out &
