Hi! This time not even the nice help of Keith was enough, but it is solved anyway.
My vserver provider rebooted their big iron because of meltdown and friends and suddenly mosh works as expected. Therefore I assume none of the usual culprits was involved in my case of malfunctioning, not even mosh itself! Thx for such a nice piece of software.
