Can you just try latest trunk version without applying any patch? Stream
auth support should be already implemented if I read correctly

Sorry for confusion. I followed below steps
git clone https://github.com/sackmotion/motion
cd motion ; autoconf ; ./configure ; make
cp motion-dist,conf motion.conf ( edit what you need )
./motion -c motion.conf
After few seconds it got crash. (I have two usb webcam)
