Hello.

When I'm connected to motion stream (other PC via LAN and VLC software) I'm
getting about 1 fps.

Motion works on HP Thin Client T5730 2GB DDR2
http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04142146.pdf

Is it possible to increase video speed / smoth?

What it the max fps fossible for motion video server ?

Best regards
Mariusz

Default fps for stream is 1fps

# Maximum framerate for stream streams (default: 1)
stream_maxrate 1

There is no limit for fps. All up to your hardware

Although this can be done I found that increasing the frame rate in
motion was problematic as it has to check every frame, I believe. To
achieve the same effect I used vlc (command line version) to pick up
the video and generate a high quality stream which can be picked up
across the network, and also vlc generates a separate, smaller picture
size, mpjpeg stream that motion picks up. That way I get a high
quality stream with minimum processor requirements, while motion does
its thing at a slower rate.

I don't think so. To share V4L device you must use some software like
v4l2loopback
