I think it may be an ffmpeg issue: constatus has the problem as well,
even with gstreamer in between the camera and the program.

I recall someone had issues with h364 yuvj420p pixel format, but can't
find how that was resolved
Wonder, if you could run ffmpeg record for a longer period to see if
you are getting artifacts in the recording too when using just ffmpeg:
