My log is being hit with:
[WRN] [NET] netcam_init_jpeg: no new pic, no signal rcvd
But the main page shows a stream from the camera, so motion is able to
read the network stream.
Source camera is
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pas.webcam&hl=en_CA&gl=US
which has worked very well for a long time, although I have not used it
or motion for a time now due to a segfault in some library motion
needed on EL7.

if you are getting jpeg images you might make sure to use this:
netcam_url mjpeg:<camera-url>
On the most recent version not using mjpeg: on a jpeg image was
causing mine to lose the cameras after some time in use. Swiitching
to mjpeg: made it work like it used to.
