Hi , is there any quick way of telling motion to use local time instead
of? in my case UTC,? ie to get it to use DST, day light saving Time.

needs to be done from CLI, now running 10 cams on motion, I can set the
cams to use their own date/time, but it would be nice to show

summer time when video/pictures get written to file

If you have the timezone set in Linux it will use that.

What does the 'date' command show from the command line, and what does
'journalctl | tail' show as the date?
