This morning at breakfast a "different" bird flew into a tree in our backyard. Then it obligingly flew closer and when I went outside perched right over my head. A hermit thrush. It must have some kind of anti-freeze in its system. I'll let folks know if it hangs around. Chet Meyers, Hennepin County
