A Carolina Wren was just up the hill from the Old Cedar Ave. Bridge parking area at 9:30 this morning. The bird was in some grape vines directly across Old Cedar Ave from the driveway and sign for the garden center. The Varied Thrush at the intersection of 110th Street and Sheridan Ave in Bloomington was observed at 10:30, feeding on cracked corn under the feeders at 2600 110th Street. It then flew up into a Cedar near the feeders, where it was more easily viewed.
