I birded around the county today and found a few things of interest: 10 GREAT GRAY OWLS, 9 NORTHERN HAWK OWLS, 1 BARRED OWL, 1 GREAT HORNED OWL, 2 BLACK-BILLED MAGPIES ( near Gun Lake), 6 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS (also near Gun Lake), 2 SHARP-TAILED GROUSES ( on C.R. 18 about 1 & 7/10 miles east of hwy 169) , 4 GRAY JAYS, 6 BALD EAGLES, 12 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS, several COMMON REDPOLLS.
