The owl was at the hole at 10 am. It dropped back down at 10:20.
Now at 10:30 am the owl is sitting in the bottom of the wood duck box =
at the northwest corner of our house.=20
I would expect the owl to sit in the entry hole as the day warms and =
sunlight hits the box.
It may jump up and down several times through the mid-day hours.=20
I would guess it will be at the hole from 4 pm until flying out around 6 =
to 6:30 pm.
If you are one of the many people who want to get a photo or see the =
owl, this may be a good day to stop by.
Our street has been plowed. You may park in the street and see the box =
from your car.
I was able to get some video tape of the owl waking, preening and =
jumping up to the hole. That is much more interesting than watching it =
sleep.
