Hello all, At about 11:00 a.m. this morning, Dennis Wiesenborn discovered a Worm-eating Warbler near his home in Moorhead along the river immediately south of the 12th Avenue tollbridge. Dennis, Dean Riemer and I relocated the bird at approximately 1:00. I looked for it again at 7:00 but could not find it. The 1:00 sighting was the last sighting that I know of.
Looks like these southerly winds have blown in a few vagrants. Yesterday we had a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher in Trefoil Park in Fargo, as well as a very early male Cape May Warbler. Good Birding!
