Hi,

Tuesday evening a flock of eight American Avocets circled the Sleepy Eye sewage
ponds and then, after checking things out, landed on the east pond to swim and
forage with a flock of Wilson's Phalaropes. This was a real treat for me, only
the second time that I've found Avocets in Brown County, the other record was
back in May, 2003.
