The Tricolored Heron was still present at Black Rush Lake, Lyon County at
8:04PM, June 7th.

It was briefly seen as it flew low over the minimum maintenance road that
runs through the marsh. It came out of the eastern lobe and landed in the
larger western portion of the lake and out of sight in the cattails.

This was the only glimpse of the bird I had between 4:30PM and 8:20PM. The
strong winds and passing storms may have kept the bird hunkered down in the
vegetation.
