At about 4PM this afternoon I flound 3 Buff-breasted Sandpipers at Lake Shetek
State Park. After you enter the park look for the side road that takes you out
to the group camps. Just before you get to the end of the road there is a
parking area and a path to an observation platform looking out over Eastlick
Lake. The lake is almost dry creating good habitat for Killdeer, a few peeps
and the Buff-breasted Sandpipers.
