I watched an immature Night-Heron fly in at the observation deck at the Old Cedar Ave Bridge at 9:45 this morning. This was a very dark bird with the feet projecting beyond the tail as it flew. There is streaking on the breast and a dark bill. I have to wonder if this might be an immature Yellow-crowned, but I don't have that much experience with young Night-Herons.
