There are 3 MOU Field Trips scheduled for this fall:
September 1st - Lake Mille Lacs Area led by Al Schirmacher - 7:30am to
12:00noon - meet at the Mille Lacs Kathio State Park entrance off US 169
northwest of Onamia, MN
This trip will focus on migrating warblers and passerines. Be advised that you
will need to pay a $5.00 entrance fee to the park if you do not have an annual
pass. There is limited space available for this trip. For more information
contact Al Schirmacher at pastoral at princetonfreechurch.net.
September 16th - Little Falls Area, Morrison County, led by Frank Gosiak and
Milton Blomberg, local residents and school teachers in nearby Holdingford, MN
- 7:30am to afternoon - meet at the Royal Caf? on Hwy 27 in Little Falls just
west of the bridge over the Mississippi River.
This trip will visit various locations in the Little Falls area including
Charles Lindbergh State Park and Crane Meadows NWR. There will be some hiking
involved and the focus will be on migrating species. Younger birders are
encouraged to participate as Frank's 13 year-old son Caleb will be part of the
group. There is plenty of space available for this trip. For more information

October 13th - Lake Mille Lacs Shoreline led by Al Schirmacher - 8:00am to
12:00noon - meet at the Dairy Queen on US 169 in Onamia, MN and carpool from
there.
This trip will focus on the west and north shores of Lake Mille Lacs and focus
on migrants and vagrants such as Red-Throated and Pacific Loons. There is
limited space available for this trip. For more information contact Al

These MOU Field Trips are free and open to the public. As always I am looking
