I walked the fire tower trail at Scenic State Park this morning. I found a pair of Black-backed Woodpeckers about 100-150 yds past the point where the trail splits. This was on the part that leads to the fire tower.
Before you get to the place where the woodpeckers are you will find a spruce bog. That's where I saw the Boreal Chickadee.
