The Long-tailed Jaeger that Scott Swanson reported last week near Agassiz NWR was relocated by Scott early last evening. Maggie Anderson and I got to see it from about 6:45 to 7:15 pm. The bird hangs around on the gravel road located at the intersection of 260th St NE and 180th Ave in Marshall County. To get to the site, take Pennington CR 20( becomes Marshall CR 12) north from MN 1 east of Thief River Falls, turn right on the road marked "Farmes Pool" and when the road bends sharply to the left, instead turn ( or look) to the right. The bird hangs around on that road about 100-200 feet from the intersection. The bird has been seen a couple of times about 6 pm.
