Hi all, If you have access to the CLO/Thayer's Birds Of North America program, check out the picture of the immature Red-shouldered Hawk. That bird is almost a 100% dead ringer for this guy.

The tail bands are not wide enough for a Coop. and the terminal dark band on the tail is not consistent with Broad-wingeds. If I use my imagination I can see a hint of rufous "red" in the shoulders.
