At 5 pm today, Saturday, there is a Snow Goose, white morph adult, on
Silver Lake in Virginia, near the 9th Avenue bridge. It's with a
group of Canada and Cackling Geese. My neighbors say they saw it
earlier today grazing with the other geese in the field across the
street.
On my walk I also saw several Yellow-rumped Warblers, and a Pied-
billed Grebe on Bailey's Lake (next to Silver Lake). And we have had
lots of White-throated Sparrows at our house for a couple of weeks.
No juncos yet.
Virginia is in central St. Louis County.
I'm off to take pictures.
