There was a Tufted Titmouse in the tree line along the parking area of the
Chaska Athletic Park near Chaska Lake. It was with a flock of mainly Juncos
and Robins. Besides the Robins and the occasional Grackle, it was the only
bird staying mid-canopy or higher. When I left the flock was in the tree line
on the west side of the Athletic Park closest to the entrance gate.

Also at the Chaska Lake but along the trail: Red-breasted Nuthatch, Purple
Finch, Eastern Phoebe, Eastern Bluebird, Belted Kingfisher, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, Song, Clay-colored, Swamp, White-throated, Harris', Fox, and Tree
Sparrow. The lake had mainly Coot and a Great Blue Heron.

Purgatory Creek yesterday still had a lingering Nashville Warbler(the only
warbler of the day), Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Whitethroated, Lincoln's, Song,
Swamp, and Tree Sparrow. No changes at the blind: Coot, Green-winged Teal,
Northern Shoveler(more than in past weeks), Mallard, and Pied-billed Grebe.

To get to Chaska Lake take W. 1st St. from Hwy 41 until you reach the Athletic
Park. W. 1st St. is closed from Hwy 212 and can not be accessed from the
west. All parking is street parking, as the gate to the athletic park is
locked.
