A pair of merlins were hunting juncos at our feeders during last weekend's snow storm. We saw two kills, and may have missed others. We are located on the north shore of Lake Bemidji, and have had Merlins nest in the area the last couple years. I have not seen them since Sunday, though...so they may have been migrating through.
