* Saturday AM - 14 warbler species at Father Hennepin State Park, including Connecticut, Black-throated Green, Canada & Wilson's - Philadephia Vireo as well - Mille Lacs lakefront (west side) was quiet except for four Sanderlings at Garrison pull off (they've painted the fish!). Finally knocked down Mille Lacs nemesis species (had not had a Merlin in nearly five years in the county). Two white deer present at Hennepin.
* Monday AM - only 8 warbler species at Blue Hill Trail, Sherburne NWR but these included Bay-breasted & Northern Parula - Junco, Lincoln's Sparrows, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Blue-headed Vireo all moving today. Good birding to all! Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties
